Volunteer With BFG!
We Need your Help!
Bound for Glory Camp thrives on volunteer participation! We want our campers to feel love and encouragement from their community. Volunteers offer unique gifts through their compassion and dedication that drive the vision of Bound for Glory Camp. We invite you to partner with us through one of our many volunteer opportunities. If you have a unique skill or idea for a volunteer position, please let us know.
Kitchen Crew
Fresh meals are prepared daily for campers and staff. Volunteers are needed to help prep, prepare, and clean.
Reading Partner
Sit with a camper while they read to you. Campers need to practice all the skills they have learned by reading. An encouraging partner will help campers when they come to a word they cannot yet read and build an understanding of the text through conversation. Reading sessions take place each weekday morning.
Camp Nurse
One of the most important jobs at camp! Camp nurses not only take care of our physical needs but provide the best love band-aids ever!
Prayer Warrior
Prayer for all happenings and individuals at Bound for Glory Camp is needed and appreciated. We would also like to extend the invitation for you to pray intently for one camper. We will share with you a short profile of your camper so that you can pray more specifically. You can also send messages of encouragement to your camper during the camp session, and we will update you on their progress.
Enrichment Class Instructor
We try to have professional instructors for our enrichment classes. If you are qualified to teach art, music, theater, photography, etc. We would love for you to share your passion with our campers.
Transportation Team
Most of our campers are transported to and from camp by their parents, but sometimes parents are not able to do so. When possible, we offer to pick-up and drop-off such campers. Two adults travel to campers’ homes or central location to pick-up and drop-off.
Project Development
We appreciate any volunteers who can help with all types of construction and renovations: painting, drywall, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc. As well as landscape development: cutting trails, gardening, building an obstacle course and gaga pit, etc. If you think you have a skill here, please let us know!
Important Note:
All volunteers must complete a background check and provide two character references. Volunteers do not need to work the entire 4-week camp session. We can rotate volunteers on a schedule that works for them. If you are interested, please complete the form and our director will contact you. Thank you for your interest.
